The Firefighters' Indian River County Fair reserves the right to decline or prohibit any exhibit, activity, or part thereof, which in its opinion is not suitable.

This agreement shall not be in force until full payment is made to the Firefighters' Indian River County Fair.

THE EXHIBITOR IS BOUND BY, AND AGREES TO ABIDE BY, THE RULES AND REGULATIONS AS STATED BELOW:

  1. INSTALLATION - REMOVAL OF EXHIBITS: Exhibitors will be allowed at least two (2) days prior to the Fair's opening to set up their exhibits. All exhibits, must be completed and approved by the Director of Exhibits before 12 o'clock NOON on Fair Opening Day. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY EXHIBITOR BE PERMITTED TO CLOSE, DISMANTLE OR MOVE HIS EXHIBIT DURING FAIR WEEK WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN PERMISSION OF THE DIRECTOR OF EXHIBITS. EXHIBITORS NOT ABIDING BY THIS REGULATION WILL BE BARRED FROM THE FAIR FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR.
  2. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS: You will be provided with electricity. Additional outlets for special lighting or power lines for the operation of equipment will be charged to the exhibitor at the cost of installation and operation. NO ELECTRICAL SPACE HEATERS MAY BE USED AT ANY TIME DURING FAIR WEEK.
  3. EXHIBIT DISPLAYS AND DECORATIONS: Each exhibitor may equip his exhibit with display material and equipment, furniture, lamps, potted plants, flowers and special set pieces provided they are not over eight (8) feet high and are in keeping with the general decorative scheme of this exhibit.
  4. CHARACTER OF EXHIBITS: The Fair Management reserves the right to decline or prohibit any exhibit, display, or activity which in their opinion is not suitable. This reservation concerns persons, things, conduct, printed material, souvenirs, catalogs and all other things. ONLY EXHIBITORS HAVE THE RIGHT TO DISTRIBUTE CATALOGS, SOUVENIRS, AND OTHER MATTER APPROVED BY THE FIREFIGHTERS' INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FAIR FROM THE SPACE OCCUPIED BY THEM, BUT IN NO OTHER WAY ON THE FAIRGROUNDS.
  5. GIVE-AWAYS: Exhibitors will have the right to offer to the patrons any such give-away items as the exhibitor desires to offer, subject to the approval of the Director of Exhibits, PROVIDING THAT SUCH ITEMS PLACE NO OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF THE PATRONS.
  6. MACHINERY IN MOTION: Machinery in motion must be located safely inside the exhibitor's leased space with sufficient safeguards and enclosure of machinery as to adequately protect others. Machinery exhibitors accept full and complete responsibility for injury or damage to the person, or the property of others.
  7. INSURANCE: The Firefighters' Indian River County Fair will not be responsible for the loss of any exhibits whatsoever by reason of fire, accident, or any other causes, nor for the loss, theft, or damage to any goods, nor for injuries to the exhibitor, his agents or representatives.
    Concessions must have proof of liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000. The insurance must have the additional insured as: Vero Beach Firefighters Association and Indian River County.
  8. CARBONATED BEVERAGES: The Firefighters' Fair reserves the right to award carbonated beverages bottlers exclusive rights to sales of their products on the Fairgrounds. Any exhibitor who offers carbonated beverages for retail sale must abide by this agreement.
  9. TRASH AND GARBAGE: All trash and garbage must be placed in or adjacent to designated receptacles. Exhibitors will be responsible for the removal of trash and garbage from their area.
  10. PARKING: Vehicles not specifically used in the exhibit, display or activity will be parked in area marked parking.
  11. SUBLETTING OF SPACE: No exhibitor will be permitted to sublet or transfer the whole or any part of the space rented to him or display anything not specified in his contract without prior written approval of the Director of Exhibits.
  12. SPACE PRIORITY AT FUTURE FAIRS: Exhibitors of the current year's Fair will be granted priority in retaining their same spaces for the following year's Fair. This can be guaranteed by signing the "Contract for Exhibit Space" and making the required deposit for the next year's Fair before leaving the premises at the close of the current year's Fair.
  13. ALL POINTS NOT COVERED BY THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO THE DECISION OF FAIR MANAGEMENT.
