Cowtown USA
Presented by Press Journal

The museum exhibit contains an old time creamery where patrons participate in preparing: a cow for milking, milking by hand or machine, and pasteurizing for a finished product.
Through their bi-lingual demonstrations they show that agriculture has no barriers. Kids get hands-on experiences with the process of making butter and ice cream using historic tools and machines in these processes, and they learn the concept of “Home Made” just the way grandma used to do it!
Hands- on demonstrations such as milking cows and goats, working oxen, frontier tanning, making milk by- products are a big part of the exhibit.

The fire fighter show is a great family oriented show and entertaining kids event. Entertaining and educating at fairs, festivals and special events in central and the eastern United States. What child hasn't wanted to become a fireman and be part of a fire fighter demonstration/show? The fire fighter training show gives kids this chance. The Fire Fighter Training Show brought to you by Wachovia was created to be both entertaining and educational. Some lucky audience members get to be the fire fighters in each show while all the kids are encouraged to practice life saving skills "Don't Hide, Get Outside" "Crawl Low, Under Smoke".

The primary instrument of Michael Hyde is the Great Highland Bagpipe which is the one most people are familiar with. It is very loud and powerful and meant to be played outdoors or in large buildings. Mike also plays the Irish Shuttle Pipe, which is relatively quiet with a very nice warm sound. All tunes are classic, festive, uplifting and liturgically correct. We hope you enjoy listening to Michael as he strolls the fairgrounds every day.
